1. The information we collect and how we use it
In any interaction you may have with Kennedy Trading Ltd we collect information in several possible ways:

 

When you directly give it to us (“Direct Data”)

  • When you visit our website or directly communicate with us you may choose to voluntarily give us certain information – for example, contact details, a resume/CV, past employment history, performance track record/pitch book. All this information requires a direct action by you in order for us to collect or process it. The relevant information is then used by us and our sub-contractors to communicate with you on any matter relating to the provision of our service.
  • We will never disclose your information to any third party without mutual consent. (Mutual consent can be verbal or written.)

When we indirectly receive it (“Indirect Data”)

  • We may occasionally contact you when you are recommended to us by a third party to see if you are interested in a particular role.

When our systems collect information or data (“System Data”)

  • We use LinkedIn and Bloomberg to identify potential candidates and use these mediums to contact the candidates directly.

2. How We Use Your Information
We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • To contact you by telephone, email or instant message you through LinkedIn and Bloomberg about mandates set by our Clients who are Financial institutions.
  • To create and manage your employment profile so we can introduce you to our Clients; Financial Institutions with active mandates.
  • Should you choose to supply us with a contact details, resume/CV, past employment history, performance track record/pitch book, this will only be shared with our prospective Clients.
  • If at any time you would prefer not to be contacted, you can do so by contacting us at http://www.kennedy-group.com/contact-us/.
  • In order for our business to function effectively, we store your information on our database which we use to work with a select group of financial institutions. Where we need to process your data via a third party, we will always safeguard your information and ensure that our suppliers are also compliant with all applicable data protection laws and regulations.
  • If we believe that you may be connected with fraudulent or other illegal activity, or have ill-intentions towards Kennedy Trading Ltd, our employees or any of our Clients/Candidates, we will take the necessary action to protect our security and services by working with government enforcement agencies or regulatory bodies. This may involve sharing your information with these parties.
  • How we DON’T use your information:
    • We will never share your information with third-party advertisers or ad networks.
    • We will never sell your information.


3. How we protect your information
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online/telephone/direct contact.


4. Controlling your personal information
You may choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information in the following ways. If you have previously agreed to us using your personal information, you may change your mind at any time and opt-out by:

We do not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we are required by law to do so.

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect. You may request the data to be rectified or completed.

At your request, we will erase your personal data as long as it is not necessary to be retained by an overriding legal or legitimate concern.
